Guest texting
Text your wedding guests, right from your guest list.
Send updates, day-of reminders and thank yous to every guest who opted in, or just the people going to one event. Schedule them ahead and the weekend runs itself.

How it works
The right text, to the right guests, at the right time.
Guests opt in when they RSVP
Your RSVP form includes a box for text updates, never pre-ticked. Only guests who tick it can get your texts, so nobody is surprised by a message from you.
Write your own, or start from a suggestion
Pick from suggested texts for every moment, from a warm welcome to your ride home, or write your own. Send to everyone, to guests attending one event, or to a group you make.
Schedule it and forget it
Set texts to go out ahead of time. Texts tied to an event follow it, so if your ceremony moves, the reminder moves too.
Built for wedding weekends, not marketing blasts.
Guest texting is your wedding-day communication system: short, useful texts to the people who asked for them.
Opt-in only
Only guests who agreed on their RSVP can be texted. You can never add someone yourself.
Send by event
Text just the welcome dinner crowd, or only guests who said yes.
Custom groups
Make a group for the wedding party, family or the shuttle riders.
First names
Texts can greet each guest by their first name.
Scheduled texts
Plan the whole weekend's texts in advance.
Suggested texts
Ready-to-edit texts for welcomes, ceremony reminders, photos and the ride home.
Delivery status
See how many of each text were delivered.
STOP handled for you
Guests can reply STOP anytime, and they will not get another text.
Nothing to download
Texts arrive like any other message. Guests need no app.
Questions couples ask
How do guests opt in to texts?
Your RSVP form includes a box to receive text updates about your wedding. Guests who tick it can get your texts. It is never pre-ticked, and it is not required to RSVP.
Can I text guests who did not opt in?
No. Only guests who agreed on their RSVP can be texted, so every text is one a guest asked for.
Who do the texts come from?
Texts come from Vowfly's number and start with your names, so guests know exactly who they are from. The first text each guest gets explains how to opt out, and STOP works anytime.
Can guests reply to my texts?
Replies are not monitored. A guest who replies gets an automatic answer pointing them to your invitation. STOP, START and HELP work as expected.
How long can a text be?
Up to 306 characters, counting your names at the start. Emoji aren't supported, and a few special characters, like accented letters, shorten the limit. We point them out as you type.
Can I schedule texts ahead of time?
Yes. Schedule any text for later. Texts tied to an event, like a ceremony reminder, move automatically if the event time changes.
Which phone numbers can I text?
Numbers with a +1 country code, so US and Canadian phones.
What comes with guest texting?
Writing and previewing texts is free. Sending comes in two options: a simple one for a few announcements to everyone, and a complete one that adds scheduling, suggested texts, first names, and texts to one event or a group you make.
How do I add guest texting?
Create your free invitation first. Guest texting is an add-on you can turn on from your guest list whenever you are ready, and there is no cap on guests.
Keep every guest in the loop.
Create your free invitation, then add guest texting whenever you are ready.
